The second race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) saw perfect conditions for the race - after a qualifying session shortened by fog - with bright sunshine and thousands of fans lining the legendary Nordschleife. The race itself was characterized by various yellow phases, close battles and thrilling racing scenes. BLACK FALCON put on a strong team performance in this challenging environment and was rewarded with two class victories and two further podium finishes.

 

 

Historic double victory for BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN First victory for the #900 in the CUP2 Pro/Am
BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN celebrated its first win of the season in the CUP2 Pro/Am class with the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#900). Alex Hardt, Peter Ludwig and Maik Rosenberg delivered a flawless performance and executed the chosen race strategy perfectly. With this success, the #900 also takes the lead in the Pro/Am championship of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). Triumph for the #70 in the SP7 class
BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN also achieved a first victory in the SP7 class: Axel Sartingen and Anton Ruf secured class victory with the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS CS (#70) thanks to a flawless and strong performance - they even left significantly more powerful vehicles behind them. It was Anton Ruf's first race with BLACK FALCON - a perfect debut! Axel Sartingen celebrated his first class victory on the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife with this success.

 

 

48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON: Important championship points in NLS2
Tobias Müller, Noah Nagelsdiek and Carlos Rivas took second place in the highly competitive CUP2 Pro class in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#948). After not getting a lap without a yellow flag in qualifying, the team started from fifth on the grid in the class. In a race characterized by many incidents, all drivers showed a clean performance, but did not have the necessary luck with the Code 60 periods. In the end, the trio secured important points for the PETN PRO classification with second place and after two of eight races are in second place in the championship, within striking distance of the leader.

 

 

Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON: Podium after nail-biting finale
The BMW M4 GT4 Evo (#150) of Team BILSTEIN by BLACK FALCON, driven by Jimmy Broadbent, Steve Brown, Misha Charoudin and Manuel Metzger, once again put in a strong performance in the SP8T class. In a thrilling battle for class victory right up to the last lap, the squad narrowly missed out on their second win of the season and finished in second place - just 3.393 seconds behind the winning car. Nevertheless, the entire team is highly satisfied with the strong performance of driver and car.

 

 

BLACK FALCON Team EAE: Retirement shortly before the end of the race
After winning the opening race, BLACK FALCON Team EAE put in another strong performance with the Porsche 992 GT3 R (#48). Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Daan Arrow, Ben Bünnagel and Mike Stursberg were on course for a podium finish in the SP9 Pro/Am classification all race long. However, a technical defect after a slight contact with the guardrail ended all hopes of another top position shortly before the end of the race. Despite the unfortunate retirement, the crew of the #48 confirmed their strong performance from the season opener and are looking to fight for victory in the SP9-Pro/Am again in the next race.

 

The third round of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series will take place in just two weeks on May 10th. The 56th Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy will run over the usual distance of four hours. BLACK FALCON will be at the start with at least six cars.
