At the fourth race weekend of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in Monza, Italy, BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR celebrated a historic record in the ProAm classification with Carlos Rivas (#6) and two first places in the rookie classification with Loek Hartog (#4). On the high-speed track in the Royal Park of Monza, Rivas first secured pole position for Saturday's race and grid position two for Sunday in the ProAm class within a strong field of eight cars. In the seventh race of the season on Saturday afternoon, Rivas again controlled the action in the class and secured his 35th victory in the ProAm classification of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. This makes the Luxembourger, who achieved all his Porsche Carrera Cup successes with Team BLACK FALCON, the most successful ProAm driver in the history of the world's most traditional one-make cup. In Sunday's race, Rivas was involved in a collision shortly before the end of the race while in the lead and was still classified as 7th in class. After seven wins in eight races, Rivas continues to lead the ProAm standings comfortably at the halfway point of the season.
Loek Hartog (#4) secured a good starting position for the two races in the extremely competitive qualifying on Saturday morning. The second championship weekend of the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Red Bull Ring in Austria was a rollercoaster of emotions for the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR. After good performances by Axel Sartingen and Daniel Schwerfeld in free practice, the team was well prepared for Races 3 and 4 of the season. On Saturday, Sartingen took over the 20-minute qualifying session and put the Porsche Cayman GT4 (#33) on grid position three in the Trophy classification. However, the race ended prematurely on the first lap with a violent crash into the guardrail, which severely damaged the Porsche. Despite frame damage in the front area, the BLACK FALCON team did not give up on the car and worked until the early hours of the morning to get the vehicle back on the grid for the second race. Among other things, the BLACK FALCON mechanics replaced all wheel suspensions, various bodywork and add-on parts as well as a frame part at the front of the car. On Sunday morning, Schwerfeld first completed a successful function test in qualifying for the second race and then drove the third fastest time in the class with the Cayman. In the race, Schwerfeld and Sartingen fought intense battles for positions with their opponents and eventually finished in third place in the Trophy classification.

Porsche Carrera Cup Germany Red Bull Ring - Race Report

At the third race weekend of the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR scored two more victories in the ProAm classification with Carlos Rivas (#6) and scored important points in the Rookie Championship with Loek Hartog (#4). Rivas once again dominated the action in the ProAm class in Styria, with a strong field of eleven cars, and started from pole position in both races after a perfect qualifying. In Saturday's race he celebrated win number 5 of the season, and in the sixth race on Sunday he again showed a flawless performance and secured his 34th class victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. With six wins from six races, Rivas remains the undisputed leader of the ProAm standings. His team-mate Loek Hartog (#4) had bad luck with the mechanical system in qualifying and lost important tenths of a second due to a defective fuel pump. Despite the handicap, he qualified in the midfield of the over 30-strong starting field. On Saturday, Hartog initially made up a few positions in the race. A small mistake cost him several places, but the 18-year-old fought his way back and finished third in the rookie category. In the second race of the weekend, the Dutchman drove flawlessly to 10th overall and secured second place in the rookie classification. Hartog is in second place in the Rookie Championship after three of eight race weekends and thus remains within striking distance of the top of the standings.

Michelin Le Mans Cup Round 2 - Race Report

BLACK FALCON finished 23rd in the second race of the Michelin Le Mans Cup at the Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France, after a lot of bad luck in the race. The weekend initially started well for LMP 3 regulars Maik Rosenberg and Donar Mundig, who share the #12 Ligier JS P320. After strong performances in the practice sessions, the team started in the midfield of the top-class field of 33 cars. At the start, however, the BLACK FALCON prototype was involved in a collision after the second turn through no fault of its own. As a result, starting driver Maik Rosenberg came into the pits for an unscheduled stop with a slow puncture. As the race progressed, the team suffered another puncture, which turned out to be a direct result of the damage sustained at the start. The time lost due to the additional pit stops cost the team the chance of a top result this time.

24h-Race Nürburgring - Race Report

After the shortest race in the history of the 24h Nürburgring, the results of the three BLACK FALCON cars turned out to be highly varied: In the Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#36) of the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR, Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana, Mike Stursberg and Ersin Yücesan won the SP8T class after a thrilling battle. In the strong CUP3 class, the TEXTAR Porsche Cayman GT4 (#308) crossed the finish line in sixth place. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR SP PRO (#350) of the BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA did not finish the race after an accident.
The 49th edition of the endurance classic started on Saturday afternoon in difficult track conditions. After a tough choice of tyres due to drizzle in the early stages, heavy rain from the 3rd lap onwards caused extreme aquaplaning and chaotic conditions on the track. After six hours, the race had to be interrupted at 9.30 pm due to dense fog. Only after more than 14 hours the race was re-started on Sunday morning, which was followed by a sprint race over roughly four hours.
