BLACK FALCON made its return to the GT3 stage at the eighth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Series with the BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA Porsche 911 GT3 R (#19). Despite a lot of bad luck during preparation, the team finished 10th overall in its first race. BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR finished eighth in the highly competitive CUP3 class with the Porsche Cayman GT4 (#970).

BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA
Noah Nagelsdiek, Florian Naumann and Hendrik von Danwitz celebrated their GT3 debut in the eighth NLS race with their first outing in the Porsche 911 GT3 R. After an accident during roll-out that required a complete rebuild of the car, the 911 GT3 R was completed early on Saturday morning thanks to an effort by the mechanics and engineers and only completed its first laps in qualifying. The qualifying session, shortened due to fog, only gave the drivers one Nordschleife lap each to get used to the new vehicle before they entered the race. However, thanks to the good preparation the trio had undergone with the Porsche 991 Cup MR, the three IDENTICA Juniors quickly got to grips with the GT3 R. The trio brought the 911 safely to the finish line with a good and flawless performance. After four hours of racing, they crossed the finish line in tenth place overall, giving themselves and the BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA a conciliatory result.

BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR
At the eighth NLS round, two cars competed for BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR.
Alexander Akimenkov, "Iceman" and Vasilii Selivanov drove the Porsche Cayman GT4 (#970) to its best NLS result of the season so far in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Trophy, which is always fiercely contested and has the largest number of participants. The trio completed a strong race with consistently fast lap times and many duels worth watching. In the end, they rewarded themselves for their good performance with an excellent eighth place in the class.
The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#350) started in the SP-PRO class with Paul Harkema and Tobias Müller. The duo impressed with very strong lap times and were in excellent position within striking distance of the top 10 until shortly before the end of the race, before the Cup MR had to be retired due to a material fault and a resulting technical defect.

Timo Frings, Head of Motorsport at BLACK FALCON:
"With our return to GT3 racing at the Nordschleife, we received a lot of attention this weekend. Unfortunately, the comeback took place under the most unfavourable conditions imaginable. Through an enormous effort, we built a completely new car in less than two weeks, which pushed the entire team to its limits. On race day, the car was not ready until the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately, our set-up was suboptimal without any test runs and experience beforehand. With tenth place overall, we celebrated a solid debut, although the driver and team clearly have more potential. I am particularly proud of our three IDENTICA Juniors - the boys had never driven the car on the Nordschleife before today's qualifying and still managed to get it over the distance without any mistakes or scratches. In CUP3 we did very well with Alexander, Iceman and Vasilii and achieved a great result. It's a pity that the good performance of Paul and Tobias in the Cup MR wasn't rewarded, the two of them harmonised really well and were also on top 10 course.
We will now use the two weeks until NLS 9 intensively and return for the season finale with a strong package."
