BLACK FALCON Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR

Nürburgring Endurance Championship - Race Report Round 4

Successful weekend for BLACK FALCON: The team from Meuspath achieved two top-15 finishes at the fourth round of the Nürburgring Endurance Championship (NLS) and won the SP8T class. The best-placed BLACK FALCON car at the 52nd Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy was the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR (#350) of BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA in 14th position overall. The Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#140) of BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR crossed the finish line after four hours of racing as class winner in SP8T and an excellent 15th overall. The TEXTAR Porsche Cayman GT4 crossed the finish line in twelfth place after a flawless drive at the first start in the highly competitive "Cayman Trophy" CUP3 class.

BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA
BLACK FALCON Team IDENTICA returned to the Nordschleife with a strong performance at the fourth NLS round three weeks after their early retirement at the 24h race. On Saturday morning, the team used the qualifying session to fine-tune the rebuilt Porsche 911 GT3 Cup MR and achieved one of the fastest lap times of the season so far. In the best weather conditions, the IDENTICA Porsche started the race in the top-20 overall. The permanent drivers Noah Nagelsdiek, Florian Naumann and Hendrik von Danwitz worked their way forward with consistently fast lap times in the course of the race. After a flawless performance over the four-hour race distance, they secured an excellent 14th place overall. The trio left several of the significantly more powerful GT3 cars behind.

BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR
BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR celebrated their third NLS-SP8T class win in a row at the 52nd Adenauer ADAC Rundstrecken-Trophy and remain unbeaten this season. Regular drivers Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg set the fastest lap in the SP8T class during the morning qualifying session in the Mercedes-AMG GT4 (#140), securing an ideal starting position. In the race, they achieved the fastest lap time in the class and crossed the finish line as SP8T class winners after 27 race laps. In addition, the trio achieved the best NLS result of the season so far for the BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR with an overall position of 15th.
The TEXTAR-coloured Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS (#950) competed for the first time in the CUP3 class this NLS season, in which only Porsche Cayman GT4 cars are allowed. The mid-engined sports car was piloted by "Iceman", Martin Meenen and Carsten Palluth. In the very strong class with 16 vehicles, whose crews are largely characterised by fast young drivers and professional racers, the veterans delivered position battles worth seeing. After a faultless race, they crossed the finish line in a good twelfth place in the class.

Next up for BLACK FALCON is the double-header in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. On 10 and 11 July, the 61st ADAC Reinoldus Endurance Race and the 44th RCM DMV Grenzlandrennen will each run over a distance of four hours. At the same time, BLACK FALCON will compete in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and the ADAC GT4 Germany at Zandvoort. In addition, the team from Meuspath will compete in the third round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in Monza on the same weekend.
